Pairing correlations in the cuprates: A numerical study of the three-band Hubbard model

We study the three-band Hubbard model for copper oxide plane of high-temperature superconducting cuprates using determinant quantum Monte Carlo and dynamical cluster approximation (DCA) provide a comprehensive view pairing correlations in this these methods. Specifically, we compute pair-field susceptibility its dependence on temperature, doping, interaction strength, charge-transfer energy. Using DCA, also solve Bethe-Salpeter equation two-particle Green's function particle-particle channel to determine transition temperature phase smaller clusters. Our calculations reproduce many aspects cuprate diagram indicate that there is an ``optimal'' value energy where ${T}_{c}$ largest. These results have implications our understanding superconductivity both other doped insulators.
